In this video I am going through the arrangement for the new sheer clamp design for Temptress. The sheer clamp is the most complicated timber to form within the boat and the new format of this is made up of 3x layers of CNC cut Utile which form the curvature of the sheer clamp in plan form. The profile of the component is formed by the lamination of these three layers. Varying steps in the layers of the sheer clamp give the shape of the rolling bevel that it will be shaped to later.
